Riga Weather is classified as humid continental, its close proximity to the sea tempering its patterns. Despite the city’s northern European location, Riga Weather is moderately warm and humid.
Winters in the capital and largest city of Latvia are usually warm, at least if the city’s location is taken into consideration. On the upside, summer is also renewd for its abundant daylight, giving ample opportunities to visitors to take in the many splendors Riga has to offer.
Riga Weather takes a turn for the worst as autumn rolls in. Because of its proximity to the sea, rain and fog are almost permanent fixtures, while temperatures drop to an average of 10C.
